On October 24th and 25th, Urban Ecology classes went on walking tours of lower Manhattan to learn about the history of NYC drinking water. They walked through areas that the colonists knew as wetlands, down the banks of Collect Pond the cities original source of freshwater and ended at Collect Pond Park which commemorates that history!
