Thanks to our friends at the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, you are cordially invited to join the international creative team and cast of Hong Kong original chamber opera, Mila, for a webinar panel discussion on Tuesday, October 6 at 8:00 PM (New York time) to get behind the scenes of this production that explores the cultural richness and diversity of Hong Kong. Mila had its North American premiere in December 2019 in New York and San Francisco.
The discussion will feature Hong Kong playwright Candace Chong, American composer Eli Marshall, New York-based music director Neal Goren, professional sopranos Amanda Wai-yin Li and Stefanie Quintin-Avila, and Asia Society Hong Kong Center’s Executive Director S. Alice Mong. The session will be moderated by critic and journalist Ken Smith.
