SUBMISSION OF WORK BY END OF YEAR
Principal Contreras and the Cabinet share that June 16 will be the last day to submit outstanding work to ensure that the final calculation of grades is reflective of all work submitted. Teachers may, at their discretion, accept work after this date through end of the Spring Term. This timeframe is typical for the end of the year and gives teachers time to grade outstanding work so it may be calculated before grades are due to the program office on June 19 for seniors and the morning of June 24 for all other grades. The program office due dates are in place so that report cards may be printed for all students and graduation status may be determined for seniors by the end of the term. Outstanding work will continue to be accepted through January 2021, only for students that receive an NX (seniors must resolve NX grades by August for graduation status). Only grades that are below 65 will receive an NX. Any numerical grade may be converted to CR or NC at the request of the parent for students under 18. CR and NC grades do not impact GPA.
