Coach Boericke shares that on Saturday, Stuyvesant's Chess Team beat out Brooklyn Tech to take 1st place in the Mayor’s Cup, a city-wide scholastic team chess championship. Justin Chen, Cheng Chen, Jun Yan Li and Ryan Chen turned in high scores for Stuy. Team Captain Justin Chen also took 1st place in the individual standings with 4 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws. Congratulations to all!!
