Stuyvesant takes 1st and 2nd place in the Federal Economics Challenge New York State!

<p><strong>Ms. Ellen Schweitze</strong>r shares that three of eight teams advanced in the <strong>New York State Economics Challenge</strong>.On Sunday, April 7<sup>th</sup> <strong>Stuyvesant won 1<sup>st</sup> AND 2<sup>nd</sup> Place</strong>!</p> <p>The Fed Challenge team performed very well at the preliminary round, and was invited to compete for the last rounds of the competition at the NY Federal Reserve bank on April 16th. </p> <p>The team members are:</p> <p>Cathy Cai</p> <p>Leo Fleissig</p> <p>Dylan Kim</p> <p>Crystal Wang</p> <p>Joshua Weiner</p> <p>Three Economics Challenge teams from Stuyvesant advanced from the preliminary round to the NY State Finals and competed on April 7th at Hunter College against teams from Bethlehem High School (Delmar, NY), Hunter College High School, New Rochelle High School, and Manhasset High School. The three teams placed 1st, 2nd, and 5th place in NY State.
