Stuyvesant students play at Rose Studio at Lincoln Center in Chamber Music Competition

Stuyvesant’s Chamber Music Group has a group that was selected for the NYC region in the prestigious chamber music competition at Lincoln Center. After months of training, the live concert was held on Tuesday, March 3 at the Rose Studio at Lincoln Center.  Zoe Buff on violin, along with Christina Pan on violin, and Isaac Lageschulte on viola played Dvorak’s Terzetto trio in this program under the direction of Mr. Joseph Tamosaitis.

11 groups were featured from the following six schools: Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, Hunter (2), Townsend, LaGuardia (4) and Special Music School (2). The Stuyvesant group plays around 1hr35m. They are second to last in the program. Here is the link.  Congratulations to our students and Mr. Tamosaitis! (photo and link courtesy of Ms. Wei)
