Stuyvesant hosted Stanford University’s Admissions Office and NPR to tape an episode of their show, Philosophy Talk this past Saturday. Parents, staff and students from all over New York City and farther came to Stuyvesant to be members of a live audience as they recorded a new episode of this nationally syndicated public radio show. Stanford professors, Ken Taylor and Josh Landy, welcomed Stanford Alum Scott Forstall, noted software engineer and Tony award winning Broadway producer to talk about "The Creative Life." Stuyvesant’s Jazz Band played throughout the live taping. It was a fascinating and stimulating conversation for all. Afterwards, Professors Taylor and Landy as well as Scott Forstall stayed to answer more questions and talk to audience members one-on-one. Many thanks to Mr. Matthew Polazzo and the Student Union for arranging this with the Stanford Admissions Office.
