Last Friday, Stuyvesant, in collaboration with the Parent's and Alumni Associations held their third annual Career Explorations & Future Pathways Fair after the final administration of the PSAT/NMSWT. It was a wonderful day with over 95 classrooms open for professional volunteers to present to our students as well as full panel discussion for sophomores in the theater. For weeks, a team of staff members, Alumni and Parent's Association members worked with Dr. Yu to create to recruit alumni and parent professionals in multiple fields to come to discuss and demonstrates with our students. The panel discussion in the theater for sophomores included a range of professionals with student moderators. Every floor of Stuyvesant was abuzz with a directory of activities. Students enjoyed three sessions discussing careers in medicine, healthcare, business & finance, media, journalism, public policy, and so much more. We are grateful to everyone who assisted in the planning of this schoolwide event and hope that all our student attendees benefitted from the experience!
