The Stuyvesant Factory Farming Awareness Coalition club (StuyFFAC), which is affiliated with the organization FFAC that is focused on bringing awareness to the detrimental effects of factory farming is planning on hosting a contest in collaboration with StuyEats called “The Plant Chef: Vegetarian Edition''.
“StuyFFAC and StuyEats' plant-based cooking contest will be released on Wednesday, February 10th and submissions end tentatively on February 24th. Spend your mid-winter break cooking your favorite vegetarian or vegan dishes and submit them to the contest!
Submissions will require process photos, the recipe and ingredient list, photos of your ingredients, and photos of your finished dish! Our panel of judges will judge all submissions and the winner will get a $20 gift card from a select number of brands (Amazon, Whole Foods, Jamba Juice, Sweetgreen, Chipotle, Panera Bread, iTunes, PlayStation, Steam, Spotify), bragging rights, a chance to feature on StuyEats’ Youtube channel and the Green Garnish, and an Instagram post dedicated to them!
