<p>Stuyvesant teachers, Dr. Maria Nedwidek-Moore, Mr. David Hanna and Ms. Jessica Quenzer were honored at University of Chicago last weekend at the "Free Expression" fly in event for educators. Dr. Nedwidek-Moore and Mr. Hanna were nominated by Stuy alumni who now attend U Chicago, and were named Uchicago outstanding educators which meant they received a variety of gifts from the university’s admissions office , this trip, and an opportunity to take courses there. They had a great experience and our students are thriving there.</p><p>Ms. Jessica Quenzer, also nominated in the summer of 2023, flew out to see the U Chicago biology department in October 2023. Ravindra, a questbridge scholar, nominated both her and Dr. Nedwidek-Moore.
