Stuy Stem Goes Red will host a lecture on Monday, February 8 at 3pm led by Dr. Sander Koyfman, a psychiatrist and the behavioral health medical director at the Centene Corporation. This lecture will cover stress, dealing with stress, and mental health during COVID, particularly for high-school students and teachers. Dr. Marcie Beigel Ed. D, a behavior specialist will be speaking about the aforementioned topics.
Stuy STEM Goes Red is the first high school club to be partnered with the American Heart Association. Their goal is to promote education regarding heart and cardiovascular disease and STEM careers, and numerous STEM-related opportunities.
