Stuyvesant Parli sent 8 debaters, including 3 novices, to the New York Parliamentary Debate League (NYPDL) March Invitational, a tournament attended by teams from across the United States. Congratulations to Adina Salant (‘25), Adrian Turkedjiev (‘25), Hannah Riegel (‘23), and Molly Carroll Thompson for being 8th, 6th, 5th, and 3rd ranked overall speakers respectively, and to Uma Sukhu (‘25) for being 5th ranked novice speaker! Also congrats to Julian Huang (‘24) and Uma for reaching varsity Quarterfinals! Stuy swept the tournament, with Molly and Hannah winning the Open division, and Adrian and Adina winning the novice division! Molly and Hannah are now the #1 ranked team in the country!
