Stuy Oratorio Choir performs at Lincoln Center for DCINY

On Sunday, May 26, 56 members of the Stuyvesant High School Oratorio Choir performed The Mozart Requiem with DCINY (joined by other choirs from US and UK, professional orchestra and soloists) at Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall.  It was an amazing, inspiring, and highly moving performance.  According to nyconcertreview.com, "The DCINY performance... did indeed have a transparency in which the chorus was supreme, though undoubtedly some of this was owed to the chorus’s enormous size...  This DCINY concert ended on a triumphant note with the Cum sanctis tuis. The audience stood for a loud ovation. Bravi tutti!"

We are extremely proud of our singers, who did a magnificent job learning and performing this magnanimous work.  We are exceptionally grateful to our parent chaperones who came with us and helped with students and organizing, and to everyone from the Stuyvesant community who came to watch and support us!
