<p>Senior, <strong>Oliver Ripps</strong> shares this past weekend, <strong>Stuyvesant’s Junior State of America (JSA)</strong> chapter hosted a regional event with students from all over the Northeast. Students spent the day debating on a myriad of political issues facing our country. They also partook in activism campaigns including making blankets for underprivileged kids and registering voters for the upcoming midterms. A special shout-out to junior, <strong>Vishwaa Sofat</strong> for winning best speaker award at his first ever conference! Congratulations!
