<p>On September 30th, Stuyvesant's Jewish Student Union (JSU) in partnership with the Faces of October 7th organization hosted a special speaker event in the theater after school. Over 200 students, parents and staff members were able to hear from Oriya Ness, a 21 year-old survivor of the attacks in Israel on October 7, 2023. The session was informative and focused on her experiences. Students engaged in a Q&A after her discussion.
