<p data-block-key="i52s0">Last week, our College Office hosted their annual College Fair for Junior Families throughout the entire building! Over 120 colleges, universities and institutions sent representatives to present to our 11th graders and their families. This is a major undertaking annually for our counselors. Much appreciation for Director of College Counseling, <b>Mr. Jeffrey Makris,</b> Associate College Counselors: <b>Dr. Jeaurel Wilson, Ms. Elizabeth Hughes, Ms. Allison Klieman</b> and college office secretary, <b>Ms. Angela DeMasi,</b> as well as supervisor of the college office, <b>Ms. Casey Pedrick.</b></p><p data-block-key="dl8q8">A highlight each year for our college representatives is the hospitality of our Parent's Association in hosting a dinner reception in the cafeteria. Tremendous gratitude is due to all <b>80</b> parent volunteers, with a special thanks to leadership from <b>Isabel Zhou</b>, <b>Janie Hwang</b>, <b>Saba Kahn</b>, <b>Andrew Shih</b>, and <b>Jeff Buckley</b> and to the Family Engagement Team. Everyone pitched in to set up rooms, prepare and serve the college representatives’ dinner, photograph the event, help with crowd control, stay late to clean up, and generally jump in wherever needed. Thank you also to all who sent delicious home-baked goods. They wowed and sweetened the day!
