On Friday, October 25 following the administration of the PSAT/NMSQT to juniors, Stuyvesant held it's first ever career exploration event in collaboration with a team of staff members, the Alumni Association and the Parent's Association. Stuy hosted over 80 alumni and parent presenters who presented to students in all grade levels! The juniors enjoyed a grade wide presentation in the theater with eight notable alumni presenters from different fields. Small groups throughout the entire building met with the other three grades in two sessions. All students who filled out the preference form received one of their top two preferences of fields to explore. Presenters enjoyed a reception in the lobby courtesy of the Alumni and Parent Associations. We are grateful for all the hard work that went into the preparation for the event and hope that students enjoyed it!
