Only 7% of plastic in the USA is recycled. The largest plastic dump on earth is the Great Pacific Garbage Patch — which is approximately 1.6 million square kilometers of plastic in the ocean. Double the size of Texas!! Plastic is not biodegradable, and these plastic islands are expected to increase in size and number. Please recycle accordingly, and protect our oceans!
