On the Friday before the Spring Break, 100 students, parents and faculty gathered to celebrate Holi. The event showcased the significance of Holi, Indian classical and contemporary dance, popular South Asian music, and delicious food. Parents, staff, and students enjoyed cultural arts and activities provided by the collaboration of faculty (Mr. Colon, Ms. Ingram, Mr. Moran, Ms. Pedrick, and the Cafeteria staff) and many student-run clubs (SAYA, Indian Culture Club, Hindu Students Council, Classical Dance Club, Red Cross, Key Club, and ARISTA). The Holi event closed with everyone enjoying delicious and authentic Indian entrees from samosas, buttered chicken, paneer tikka masela, jeera rice to sweet desserts, gulab jumon, and tarmind and cilantro chutney.
