On Thursday, December 8, 2022, Stuyvesant High School's Alumni Association hosted the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Lin Brothers Robotics Lab! Our new state of the art Robotics lab will house our award winning Robotics teams StuyPulse 694 and Stuy Fisson 310. Stuyvesant was honored to have distinguished guest speakers, NYC Council Member District 1, Christopher Marte, NYC Council Member District 6, Gale Brewer, NY State Senator District 26, Brian Kavanagh, U.S. Representative-elect New York, District 10, Daniel S. Goldman, Manhattan HS Superintendent, Gary Biedleman, Principal, Dr. Seung Yu, Alumni Association President, Elina Tetelbaum '03, and donor, Stuy '03, Edwin Lin.
Students had demonstrations in the morning and afternoon sessions. In the afternoon, staff, students and families were welcomed to the unveiling of the new Robotics Lab.
