Urban Ecology and AP Environmental Science classes were inspired by guest speaker, Alumnus ‘72, Henk Rogers, founder and board director of Blue Planet Foundation. Mr. Rogers discussed how he went from revolutionizing the gaming industry to his mission to help reduce and eliminate our planet’s dependence on fossil fuels. He also discussed how young people have been involved in his foundation and how we are all involved and accountable now in our energy decisions. It is always great to have our Stuyvesant High School Alumni back to inspire, teach and motivate!
