Ms. Marissa Maggio shares that over the few weeks the Environmental Lecture series has hosted a variety of speakers, with 40 or more students attending each week!
October 22nd – Amelia Zaino spoke about her journey from High School for Environmental Studies in midtown to her internship at NASA using GIS to determine danger zones for Forest Fires in the Pacific MidWest. She also discussed how she uses GIS to create Environmental Education content for NYC H2O a nonprofit started by a Stuy Alum!
