Coming up next week, Stuyvesant’s Theater Community invites you to their Winter Drama production! If you would like a fun evening activity on Wednesday, January 8th at 5:30pm or Friday, January 10th or Saturday, January 11th at 6pm, then come see STC’s Blue Stockings! Blue Stockings is a short play about women’s’ struggle to graduate college in the late 1800s, (though written in the early 2000s, so it is easy to understand). It stars the young men and women who attended an elite college in England during the beginning of women being admitted. It includes lots of debates about feminism as well as plenty of witty banter, and is well-placed historically.
Tickets can be bought near the scanners during any free period the week of January 6th or from any cast member or producer! There will be DISCOUNTED TICKETS on Monday, January 6th for $7, and for any day after that, tickets will be $10. Tickets can also be bought at the door before the show! We’d love to see you there!
