Service in Schools invites students referred by their school to participate in the Virtual Leadership Institute Program. This is an exciting opportunity for students in grades 10-12 to connect with students from across the city, learn from experts at community-based organizations, and teach elementary students how to help their community! The SIS Leadership Institute Program is a virtual program opportunity for students in grades 10-12 who are interested in making a difference in their community. As part of this program, students will build their leadership skills during spring break by attending a four-day virtual institute between March 29 and April 1 and three after-school sessions on April 15, April 29,and May 20. During these sessions, students will work in small groups to learn about issues such as Animal Welfare, the Environment, Housing, and Food Access and develop a live virtual lesson for students in grades 3-5 that will be delivered to their class during the week ofMay 25-28.
