SENIORS – Match your Common App & Naviance accounts, and/or assigned teacher recommendations in Naviance. Create your Common App account (www.commonapp.org)
- Complete the first portion of the Education section (Current or Most Recent Secondary School)
- Go to any college listed in “My Colleges” and click on “Recommenders and FERPA”
- Complete the FERPA Release Authorization
- Log in to Naviance and click on "colleges I'm applying to"
- Click on the “Match Accounts” tab and enter required information
ASSIGNING TEACHER RECS IN NAVIANCE:
- log in to Naviance and click on the "Colleges" tab; select the “Home” option
- scroll down and click on "letters of recommendation"
- click on "add request" and select the appropriate teacher from the dropdown menu
- select the second option, assigning them to "all current and future colleges". This allows them to easily upload/submit their letter to the colleges to which you'll apply this fall. PLEASE DO NOT ASSIGN RECOMMENDERS TO SPECIFIC COLLEGES unless you have specific reasons for doing so as it makes the process much more time consuming for your teachers
