<p><b>Mr. Harold Stephan</b> is excited to announce a <b>student songwriter scholarship</b> that he created in partnership with <b>The Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Office of Arts & Special Projects. </b></p><p>The poster was shared today with music teachers from all 5 boroughs.</p><p></p><p>Mr. Stephan has recused himself from the judging process so that he may nominate a Stuyvesant student.</p><p><b>He would like to give any senior student interested an opportunity to be considered.</b> Simply email a copy of your original lyrics (no co-writers allowed) and a link to your song on SoundCloud, YouTube or other media (song may be performed by a different singer).</p><p></p><p>Mr. Stephan needs to choose one student nominate by May 15th, which means the latest he can accept submissions from students would be one week prior, on Friday May 8th.</p><p></p><p>Students should email Mr.Stephan at <a href="mailto:hstephan@stuy.edu">hstephan@stuy.edu</a> for submissions.
