<p>Junior, <strong>Sarai Pridgen</strong> founded <strong>RISE</strong>, a Black and Latinx free high school admissions nonprofit. She and a team of Stuyvesant students are a “collaborative effort dedicated to equalizing the high school admissions process. RISE is <strong>Ready to Inspire</strong> <strong>Scholastic Excellence</strong> in the underrepresented Black and Latinx student population of NYC”. Currently they are providing cost-free tutoring, writing workshops and practice interview sessions to students at I.S.
