PA General Meeting - February 11, 2025 - Register to Attend!

The monthly General Meeting of the Parent's Association will take place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 7pm on Zoom. Here's the Registration Link.

This month, the PA will provide school and PA details, followed by a discussion about mental health issues and resources, with Stuyvesant’s very own Ms. Casey Pedrick, joined by Dr. Doris Chang, Dr. Teresa Hsu, and Dr. Jonathan Kaplan.

Together, they will explore the stressors impacting teenagers today and how parents can be most helpful.  Specifically, they will discuss:

• The importance of parents maintaining their own health and well-being (and how to do so)
• The influence of immigration- and generation-related differences on mental health
• Why mental health is a critical part of healthy development and how therapy can help.
