<p><strong>Parent’s Association General Meeting and Election – Monday, September 17<sup>th</sup> 7-9pm</strong></p>
<p>The first PA Meeting of the year will be held in the theatre beginning at 7pm. Refreshments will be served in the lobby at 6:30pm</p>
<p>Mr. Contreras, Mr. Moran, Ms. Pedrick and I will attend the meeting to provide updates and discuss supports to students and parents. <strong>TRANSLATION WILL BE PROVIDED IN MANDARIN.</strong></p>

<p>At the PA General Meeting on September 17<sup>th</sup>, there will be an <strong>election</strong> for <strong>one</strong> parent to represent the Freshman Class on the School Leadership Team (SLT) AND the election for PA Members-At-Large representatives for all grade levels. <u>Consider becoming involved in Stuyvesant High School and becoming a representative</u>. An Election Notice and Nomination Form was emailed to parents on August 29<sup>th</sup> and September 5<sup>th</sup>.</p>
<p>A full slate of candidates was emailed to parents on Friday, September 14<sup>th</sup>. Doors will open at 6:15 for the sign-in process. Every parent must sign in with photo ID in the lobby to obtain a ballot. <strong>Please arrive early to ensure you can SIGN IN and obtain a ballot to vote. </strong> Each parent and/or legal guardian may vote; there is no proxy voting.</p>
