PA General Meeting - The Diverse Learners Committee of the Stuy PA is pleased to offer parents an opportunity to learn about the complex issue of youth mental health. The presentation, “Bridging Understanding, Breaking Stigma, and Supporting Our Youth,” will provide parents with powerful insights and practical guidance on how to best support our children’s mental wellbeing.
Wenhua Lu, PhD, P'28, will present on “Why Youth Don’t Reach Out - And What We Can Do About It”, Fengtao Huang, DSW, LCSW, PMH-C, CASAC, will present on “What Therapy Really Looks Like: Breaking Down the Door to Support”, and Jianping Zhang, MD, PhD, will present on “When to Worry, What to Watch For: Mental Health and Medical Care”.
Following the presentations, Amy Pumo, LCSW, P'26 '26 will moderate the audience Q&A with the panel.
