Join the Next Generation Politics Civic Fellowship for 2021-22. Are you interested in participating in conversations that emphasize multiple perspectives on key civic issues of our time with experts and civic-minded teens from schools across the city and country? Apply to the Next Gen Civic Fellowship to join a rising generation of leaders in building cross-partisan relationships and understanding in order to create collaborative civic solutions. Through monthly Civic Forums, you'll deliberate issues such as, What would a just and equitable criminal justice system look like and how do we create it? Where is the line between free speech and hate speech? How do we ensure free and fair elections that enable all citizens to vote and have a voice? You can get a taste of the Civic Forums in action through our videos here
The Civic Fellowship will launch with a full day, community-building Civic Orientation on Sun, Oct 3 from 10AM-4PM (ideally in person.) Subsequent Civic Forums will be on Sundays Oct 24, Nov 14, Dec 12, and Jan 9 from 1-3:30PM ET, most likely on Zoom depending on the majority opinion of applicants. Upon completion of the first semester in good standing, Fellows can apply for a spring Civic Action Project internship, convening on Feb 6, Mar 6, April 10, and May 1, 2022.
