Need Wifi at Stuy? You'll need to register your device on Talos!

Stuyvesant has a NEW SYSTEM to preserves access to the WiFi network for students and staff.  This means that WiFi access is not available to visitors. The new system requires that every device connected to Stuyvesant’s network be registered by MAC Address. The goal of this system is to ensure that devices will always be connected on the network and that students and staff will not have to connect early in the morning in order to reserve a spot on the Wifi network. Students and staff were emailed directions on registering their device on Talos through ARGUS, which complies the MAC addresses and information in multiple downloadable file formats. This information is downloaded for bulk upload to the system by Computer Software Specialist, Mr. Sydney Lindsey.  If a message with a denial is received, an email may be sent to him at slindsey@stuy.edu.

If you are experiencing difficulties on Talos accessing Argus as a student or staff member or need assistance,  please email the help desk at help@stuy-mail.org. So far, over 1000 students have registered their devices!
