Ms. Weissman's Law class hosts Stuy Alumna '75, business entrepreneur, Dina Towbin

Ms. Linda Weissman's Law class hosted Ms. Dina Towbin, Stuyvesant Alumna, 1975 who spoke to students about the three steps to starting their own business, research, brainstorming, networking and organization.
Ms. Towbin began working as a communications consultant in 1992 in Washington, DC.  She has been involved in alumni events to support Stuy students since graduating college (Binghamton University) and grad school (GWU). In 1992, she left her job at an international development consulting firm where she had been managing overseas projects and writing proposals and reports. She started her own business in 1992, Dina Towbin and Associates. Throughout her career, international development has been her passion. She wants to help people improve their livelihoods, access education, and improve their overall health, nutrition and well-being. Her drive to be an entrepreneur started when she and her brother were children and tried to selling comics in rural Connecticut. It wasn't a success. She has started several other businesses that didn't succeed. But her consulting firm is successful. She tripled her business income in 2019. Learn more at http://www.dinatowbinconsulting.com/
