Ms. Jessica Quenzer shares that during the first two weeks of December, she took her two Genetics classes to the DNA Learning Center in Brooklyn. There, they conducted two lab protocols - Alu detection within a certain locus in Chromosome 16, and mitochondrial DNA sequencing. In the photos, you can see the students pipetting and looking at gels.
