On Wednesday May 8th, Mr. Trainor shares that his AP Comparative Government and Politics class hosted a guest lecture by Columbia University History Professor, Pablo Piccato. Professor Piccato specializes in Mexican history and focused his lecture on the rise of organized crime in Mexico in the 20th and 21st century. He provided fascinating insights in to this important topic and the students were able to ask important questions about the intersection between drugs and crime in Mexico and the United States.
