Mr. Robert Sandler's NYC History Class took a walking tour on Wednesday, April 10th. They toured Federal Hall and saw the site of George Washington’s inauguration, Trinity Church, Art Deco skyscrapers, and 17th c archaeological remains from the Dutch and English era. They also took a private tour of the Woolworth building and City Hall where and watched a hearing! Students had a meeting with three Stuy alumni who all work for Mayor De Blasio, including Mr. Harvey Blumm’s daughter! They discussed what it was like to work in city politics.
