Mr. Robert Sandler had Dr. Vincent DiGiralamo from Baruch College come and discuss his award-winning book, Crying the News: A History of America’s Newsboys, published by Oxford University Press. DiGiralamo worked as a journalist and filmmaker before earning a PhD from Princeton. The students loved hearing the real history behind the iconic newsies featured in the Broadway musical.
