Mr. Hanna's Middle Ages Class Visits the Cloisters and St. John the Divine

Mr. David Hanna's Middle Ages class visited the Cloisters and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine this week. Mr. Hanna shares that these students are the first to take the new English elective course. They have been studying medieval monastic life, Romanesque and Gothic architecture, and going on pilgrimages. Their pilgrimage took them from TriBeCa to Fort Tryon Park and Amsterdam Avenue.
The Tour guide, Ms. Erica Kenney shared that in her 13 years at The Cloisters, Mr. Hanna's class was the most fun and the most outstandingly engaged of any tour she had given.  She also commented that the student were at the level of  college English and Writing that she taught at one time. and asked good questions; a testimonial to Stuyvesant high school and our teachers.
