This November, Mr. David Hanna has been invited by the American School of Paris to share his expertise with students, teachers and parents based on the research he conducted in writing his book, Rendez Vous With Death. Mr. Hanna will spend a week in Paris during the event to commemmorate the 100th anniversary of the Armistice of 1918, and deepen understanding of The Great War and the special relationship between the U.S. and France. He will be working in history classes in grades 6-12; travel with 8th graders to Verdun and lead interactive workshops as well as meet with history department faculty. Mr. Hanna will also be working with the American Battle Monuments Commission discussing their plans to heighten interest in WWI monuments in Paris.
Congratulations to Mr. Hanna on this wonderful invitation and exciting opportunity! We look forward to hearing about the event when he returns.
