Mr. Brando hosts Ben Smith of The New York Times to discuss Politics, Media & the Elections

<p>Mr. Lee Brando shares that on October 27th, <b>Ben Smith</b> (father of student Hugo Smith) and media columnist for <i>The New York Times</i>, visited his <b>AP Government</b> class to speak to students about whether media is replicating the mistakes of 2016. His talk was a brief lecture on the topic and then a conversation with students to give them the opportunity to really dig into the election politics. He joined <i>The New York Times</i> in 2020 after eight years as founding editor in chief of BuzzFeed News.
