Mr. Brian Sterr shares that this past Saturday (11/17), the NYC Math Team came in 4th place overall at the Princeton University Math Competition (PUMaC). The students on the team of eight are all from Stuyvesant. They were led by Stuyvesant Math Team captains Milan Haiman ('19) and Matthew Kendall ('19) and included: Robin Han ('19), Akash Das ('20), Kimi Sun ('20), Ethan Joo ('21), Max Vaysburd ('21), and Rishabh Das ('22). Their team came in 2nd place in the proof-writing portion of the competition, after submitting a total of 170 pages of solutions, written over the span of one week.
