<p data-block-key="cmctp">Ms. Madden and Mr. Li were invited to attend a reenactment of United States v. Wong Kim Ark performed and hosted by members of the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) yesterday (5/27/2026). They hope to bring it to Stuy to have students perform various reenactments from AABANY in the future school years!</p><p data-block-key="feuli">For networking at the event... Mr. Li was able to connect with Yang Chen, the executive director for AABANY, who has expressed interest in bringing various reenactments to Stuy for students to perform. This is all been supported by Chris Kwok (Stuy alum), who has come to Mr. Li's class as a guest speaker and was present at our last month's Museum of Chinese in American professional development over Spring Break, and his invite to this event in order to encourage students' awareness in Asian American history grow.</p>
