JUNIORS: Take the Fall College Campus Tour!

The College Office has arranged fall college tours for juniors. The tour will take place on Friday, November 2nd. A detailed itinerary and packet were mailed to juniors and parents from Mr. Jeffrey Makris this week.

The Fall College Tour includes official campus information sessions and tours of the following institutions: Yale University, Wesleyan University, and Trinity College.

Students interested in registering for Stuyvesant's Fall College Tour must carefully read the following:

-students must have a cumulative GPA of 88 or higher to participate due to the selectivity of the colleges on this trip. Space is limited to 50 students.

-the cost of the trip is dependent upon family income as reported in school income verification forms:

$54.00 per full pay student

$25 for students who qualify for reduced lunch (meal code 2)

$10 for students who qualify for free lunch (meal codes A and 1).

-payment should be made by check or money order made payable to Stuyvesant High School. We can accept cash if necessary. Trip fees cover our bus transportation, lunch on the Wesleyan campus, and dinner on the Trinity campus.

-breakfast is not included. Students should eat breakfast prior to the trip or bring breakfast to eat on the bus.

-Students must bring their completed permission slips with all required signatures and payment to the College Office (225) immediately after 10th period starting on Tuesday, October 2nd. Incomplete packets cannot be accepted.

-students who cannot register on Tuesday can come to the College Office to register during their free periods starting on Wednesday, October 3rd. Students cannot register during class time.
Unfortunately, we cannot possibly take all of our students on campus tours; we are simply far too large of a high school. Visiting colleges remains a family responsibility. We expect this tour to fill up quickly, so we encourage you
