MATLAB is a science, physics, engineering, and mathematics software from Mathworks that we are using for IYPT. MATLAB is widely used in Colleges for research and also in Research and Development in companies.
Dr. Winkel has a license for IYPT which allows him to sign up an unlimited number of students.
It can be helpful to students that are part of other research teams at Stuyvesant or that are doing internships. If the students want to buy an individual license it costs $100 per year. You may contact Dr. Winkel for the software for free at gwinkel@schools.nyc.gov to schedule an appointment.
