The next General Meeting of the Parent’s Association will take place on Tuesday, October 30th at 7pm. The main speaker will be Roy Hinton, a former admissions officer from Columbia University and other institutions, including The Fashion Institute of Technology. He is now on the staff at Crimson Consulting, which helps high school students with college applications. He'll be joined by David Freed, the CFO at Crimson, a Harvard grad himself and a former associate at Goldman-Sachs. Freed was accepted at Harvard Law school at the age of 20, but has deferred admission in order to work at Crimson, where he has helped develop mathematical models to help predict student acceptance rates. Refreshments will be served at 6:30pm in the lobby, and there will be simultaneous translation provided in Mandarin.
