<p data-block-key="vnoe6">This spring, NYCPS, in collaboration with community-based organizations, is hosting <a href="https://sites.google.com/schools.nyc.gov/ml-immigrantstudentsupport/for-families/family-opportunities#h.9zipky5i2x4o">GenConnect</a>, an eight-week intergenerational program in select languages (currently in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese-Mandarin, Hausa, and Spanish) that brings multilingual students/English language learners (MLs/ELLs) and their families together to strengthen family-school partnerships while building advocacy, leadership, literacy, and social-emotional skills. Each community-based organization hosts the program in the home language of the community it serves.
