STUDENTS – FREE WORKSHOP -- Steelcase WorkLife Center and Project Reach to host Anti-Discrimination Training
Tuesday, April 30, 2019 and Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 8:30am-3:30pm [breakfast and lunch provided].
Steelcase WorkLife Center, 4 Columbus Circle, New York, NY 10019 (corner of w58th & 8 Ave).
This 12-hour Anti-Discrimination Training will bring together 30-40 students and young people from schools and community organizations serving young people and families throughout Manhattan and City-wide.
Speaker Corey Johnson, CM Danny Dromm, the New York City Council and Project Reach seek to establish community and school-based Intergenerational Anti-Discrimination Teams of young people and adults trained to address bullying, implicit bias and discrimination in their communities. Drawing from 40 years of anti-discrimination and social justice training, Project Reach will offer a unique opportunity to individuals, organizations and schools to experience its most successful and impactful workshops.
