The Environmental Club presents the Eco Fact of the week for the week of December 16th -- When organic waste is compressed in a landfill, it produces the greenhouse gas methane. If organic waste is composted, methane emissions are significantly reduced. Additionally, compost can be used instead of chemical fertilizers. Help to preserve our resources and properly sort your trash!
