Dr. Maria Nedwidek-Moore shares that in Medical Human Genetics in the spring 2021 term, students explored a different transposable element from the one examined by the fall class and examined DNA microarray chip data for patterns often used to "fingerprint" genomic data left behind at crime scenes. Included are their Spring montages and their visits with Jason Mohabir, Stuy '17 during which he answered questions about his work at Columbia and about how he navigated and succeeded at Stuyvesant and at Columbia. Much appreciation to the Parent's Association for funding the labs.
