Dr. Lisa Greenwald and the History Club shares that on Sunday February 24th, at the national qualifier for the History Bowl, Stuyvesant had two qualifying teams. Congratulations to all!
Quarterfinalist Team – Sophomores, Lakshya Rajoria, Joshua Melamed, Frederick Lei, Michael Mardirossian Semifinalist Team, Sophomores, Shreyas Krishnan, and Anthony Rivello, Freshmen, Adam Avnet and Kenneth Tang.
Congratulations to Adam Avnet, who also qualified for nationals in the History Bee and the US history test and Kenneth Tang also qualified for nationals in the History Bee and Anthony Rivello qualified for nationals in the Geography test. Teams will go to the national competition on April 26-28 (Friday-Sunday) in Washington DC and the entirety of rounds for the history bowl are on Saturday 27th except the final few playoff rounds.
